How MeshPay works — the honest print
MeshPay is built for the TaxiU mesh radio (Wi-Fi Direct / BLE / LoRa) in every blackbox — so a fare can move even when the cell network is down. In this demo, transfers queue on your device and settle automatically the next time you're online, the same store-carry-forward model the live mesh runs on.
Your points are real. They are just not money. They are minted by the server on trips it recorded, they really move when you send them to a friend, and they cannot be bought or cashed out — that is what keeps them a reward rather than a payment instrument. AIOS carries no taxi fares, so nothing on this page settles in rands. Your rider id is anonymous and stored only on this device.
