One engine. Every vertical.

Most software companies build one product for one vertical. AIOS is built as an operating system for the physical world — a single spatial engine where payments, telemetry, geofencing, control planes, dashboards and retrieval compose. Point the same engine at a scooter fleet, a minibus-taxi safety mesh, or an insurer’s actuarial desk, and it ships the whole surface: public face, operator backend, data feeds and all.

That line is an engineering discipline, not a slogan. In AIOS no capability is an island: a payment event carries spatial context; a geofence breach can raise a rider notification and an insurer data-feed entry; every new module is designed against every coupling it touches before it ships. That is why one engine carries many industries without forking into a shelf of disconnected products — and why each new vertical makes the others sharper instead of heavier.

04 — 4D · Ground to Orbit

One substrate, four dimensions — ground to orbit.

AIOS is a spatial operating system with a real WGS-84 spine. The same platform that runs a taxi or a scooter on the street extends up through the airspace to low orbit — one coordinate system, one registry, one set of rails. Each capability below carries its current status: live today, or delivered on contract.

Geo-Earth ground & craft control

A real WGS-84 globe (Cesium) with a craft registry, per-craft secure tokens, telemetry up and command down, and an above/below-ground-level context boundary. Any GPS-bearing object — vehicle, drone, vessel — rides the same coordinate spine.

UAV & airspace planning

UAV flight-planning and airspace visualisation in 3D — South African airspaces rendered on the live globe, with an ASTM-style plan lifecycle from route design through activation and close-out.

Airborne & orbital telemetry

The same 4D substrate ingests and tracks other airborne objects and low-orbit satellite telemetry — delivered on contract. The coordinate spine is already in place; the sensors and feeds bolt straight on.

Geo-anchored sensor ingest — seismic, environmental, structural — folded into the same spatial platform and reporting. The actuarial and monitoring value the mobility feeds already prove, applied to fixed infrastructure.

Scales with density

Failsafe / resilient comms

A store-carry-forward mesh — the established VANET / delay-tolerant-networking idea — that complements cellular and is strongest exactly when towers fail: load-shedding, outages, disasters. The mesh event bus runs today; the relay network effect switches on as node density builds. It carries small, latency-tolerant payloads — alerts, SOS, sensor data — not a broadband replacement.

05 — Timely

Regulation is arriving. AIOS is already built for it.

South Africa · 2026 e-scooter law

  • Under-500W e-scooters are now classed as “environmentally friendly vehicles” — no driver’s licence required.
  • Speed limits around 25 km/h, set by municipalities.
  • Riders belong in bike lanes and shared paths.
  • Lights are required at night.
  • Fines of R500–R1500 for violations.
  • Insurance is not automatic — cover is on the operator.

Micromobility and mobility regulation is landing worldwide, and South Africa’s 2026 framework is a case study in what it demands: municipal speed zones, path rules, night-visibility requirements, per-violation fines — and an insurance gap the operator has to close.

This is precisely the moment AIOS products were built for. AIOScooter already runs geofenced parking, no-go and slow zones with enforced speed caps per municipality, plus per-operator compliance reporting — on a real smart-lock fleet.
